corbyn and that mural - an illustration of corbyn's dimwittedness, it seemsArchived Message

Corbyn endorsed the mural because it illustrated bankers gorging on wealth on the back of workers.
That's a standard socialist meme.
No one has a problem with that. Even capitalists don't object to that; they simply disagree (or profess to disagree) that that is how the world is ordered.
The (manufactured) issue was that one of the character's had a big nose and was therefore intended to convey Jewishness.
But Corbyn only looked briefly, so he only saw the anti-capitalist message. He didn't see the (alleged) anti-Jewish message because he didn't focus on the bankers' physical characteristics, see a big nose and think Jew!
But his enemies (smear-mongers) did see a big nose and automatically think Jew!
So Corbyn, in his 'blindness', actually proved his anti-racism, and his enemies proved their antisemitism (by reflexively making the connection, hook-nose = Jew).
But it never occurred to Corbyn to defend himself, and attack his enemies, with this argument.
That's why the episode seems another illustration of him dimwittedness.
