I feel very sorry for the staff who have to transpose Johnson's bawling and shouting into the record. From scripts, it has gone on for over an hour. He started off with his Statement of Intent. He also waves his arms around amongst other gestures. His performances are very tiring to listen to and to watch and it is difficult to know exactly what he is promising. Johnson must be upset that Mick Davis has quit as the Chief Executive of the Tory party and has ceased his funding of it. Davis is extremely rich from his XStrata mining empire and was the funder behind the Liam Fox/Adam Werritty scandal which Craig Murray wrote about extensively. 'Sir Mick, a former Jewish Leadership Council chair, wrote to the party's biggest donors on Wednesday, saying "one of my great bugbears has been the lack of unity in our party". He said Boris Johnson, who was elected leader on Tuesday and will become prime minister on Wednesday afternoon, "should be free to choose a team at CCHQ". "Good politics is not a cheap exercise and if we are not properly resourced and financed we will risk a very bad outcome – Jeremy Corbyn in Number 10," he said.' https://www.thejc.com/news/uk-news/mick-davis-quits-as-conservative-party-chief-executive-warning-party-needs-money-to-fight-corbyn-1.486761 The Tories are really worried about Corbyn and Labour aren't they!
