I can’t help but feel that, despite the no doubt noble personal intentions of many involved with Extinction Rebellion, a key driving force behind it and its sudden leap into the public eye, is likely to be a UK security services strategy of dividing the progressive vote by luring as many young erstwhile Corbynistas as possible into voting Green rather than Labour in a forthcoming general election. And thus ensuring five more years of Boris. So my message to XR supporters is: DON’T FALL FOR IT!!
