As I said, there is wilful ignorance of the facts on both sides In Favour of polemic. Ignoring the referendum is ignoring democracy, yes, perhaps more so than shutting down parliament, since last several times I tried appealing to an mp as a constituent I was told my views didn't match party line (rather than the majority opinion). Both sides obviously happy to forego democracy to get what their party wants and that is what we are seeing now. Pretending that is nonsense is a weak out, and disappointing. It's like watching a game of monopoly between a group of spoiled children; every kid claims their rules are the immutable rules, and throws a tantrum when they land on someone else's street and have to pay. I'm personally very glad I didn't vote, because I can't be accused of having a side in the ridiculous shenanigans. Few seem to be holding onto any principles in their quest to win and be right and remainers claiming the sky is falling is getting stupid. It fell years ago. You know it and so do I.
