No probs, yes I think they could be useful ones to remember next time dogmatic pacifists invoke Gandhi's name & philosophy. I guess Murray's points do seem abstract from our position in the (relatively) affluent west, but I think they'd be recognised and welcomed by people resisting on the sharp end of empire & colonialism, eg: in Palestine, Brazil, Bolivia, DR of Congo etc. Ultimately it's got to be a question of what works in your particular situation, which CM appears to recognise. If voting does it, fine; or if not, a load of petitions, A-B protests, mass civil disobedience; if not, some other tactic...
