You,re all no different from the shmucks who elected Johnson.Your heads are so far up your own arse that you/they(whatever you choose to call yourselves) couldn.t see this coming. You and all those like you are a ####ing disgrace.From "I told you so" to the "enemies in our midst"you've wasted all our efforts to make a more just and caring outcome in pursuit of your own pettifogging oneupmanship. Ego massage is the bain of effective action. I have to hold my hand up as being drawn into the same trap myself from time to time. I wom't make the same mistake again. The biggest contributor to this catastrophe was the media.Yet instead of uniting to fight the media as this board was set up to do,all too often it has descended into a competition between competing monologues. You should all be ashamed,as belatedly I am. But sad to say you won,t be. I must say thanks to you Dan for everything you've tried to achieve here and I will continue to read and follow the posts,but no fault to you,as a meaningful and useful contribution to progressive discourse it has long since lost it's way. |
