I don't disagree with that point, just the earlier blanket grouping. Whether or not I vote, I still have power as a member of the community. We can all change things (more so without a parliament of snakes), but using such statements has the effect of grouping non voters with tories. We saw how polarised people became before the election, and if the goal is fractured society, such statements contribute massively. More helpful would be continuously pointing out: we didn't vote for the tories, and then taking that and running with it somewhere positive. Not on the other hand, telling us all that were fools. It reduces everyone to pointless and destructive bickering.
