article that contradicted this. As I pointed out, there are current self-driving tests running in South London. Frankly, as a cyclist, I'd trust them more than some of the human drivers out there. With new AI approaches e.g. evolving hyperparameter selection (Population Based Training), I very much doubt that it'll take ten years. Now, if Rhis had simply said he doubted that cars would continue to exist in the near future, and hence no self-driving cars, that would have been a different argument.
