Could also be used as confirmation of immunity as part of a certification process - though that will drive people into exposing themselves. Thanks Dan. Just to clarify, are they worried false positives of the antibody tests could lead people who think they have immunity to expose themselves and others and that the possible benefits would be outweighed by this? I understand that it's not useful for diagnosis for the reasons you state and agree with you as to the availability of PCR tests. |
