According to one of the heads of the company that is manufacturing it in Canada it is "highly specific" for Covid-19. He also claims that it "could help reduce the current strain on the laboratory testing system by prioritizing anyone who gets a positive result on the blood test". https://www.cbc.ca/news/health/rapid-blood-test-await-approval-in-canada-1.5518485?__vfz=medium%3Dsharebar I hadn't thought of that particular benefit, and am not sure how useful it would be |
