Unlikely that pcr will be positive by the time the antibody test is positive. All antibody tests ate going to have some cross treatment reactivity and therefore a lack of perfect specificity. It's one of the features of the antibody immune system - cross reactivity so that some immunity is conferred against similar non identical species. Of course we don't have much immunity against this strain so maybe the treaty is specific. |
