my point is there isn't much point in worrying about indebtedness when it's going to happen anyway. I'm not even arguing for UBI. I'm saying that in the three months it would take to eradicate it is obviously possible to financially support the people of this country. I'd also be in favour of rent and mortgage holidays. The reason we are in this position is because from the outset the choices taken were constrained by the need to protect capital. |
