YoU should just carry on as 'normal' because the individual has no influence on the trajectory of global climate collapse. Virtually everything people are encouraged to do to reduce their carbon footprint, is meaningless, apart from massaging or grooming people imagine that re-cycling and less consumption can be mitigated by 'green' behaviour. It can't and it won't. Our global market system doesn't give a monkey's about what little people do as individuals. It's more than an irrelevance. It's a fantasy for Guardian readers, who know nothing about economics.
