Somehow a post about Athletic Recruiting got twisted into the venemous divide and conquer political BULL CRAP that exists in our nation.

Sorry, so much BS in this thread I just can't believe so many blinded people. So let me get this straight, a school gets Federal Funds and they allow Jewish students to be harrassed and interfer with there right to go to class, simply for being Jewish is perfectly acceptable as they are private school?
Are you guys kidding? Its all because Trumps kid didnt get in, yea ok. Stop watching CNN and MSNBC to get your news. Its never ok to stop a class of people from learning. They paid money or earned a Scholarship to that school and have a right to learn. This isn't a left or right issue, its an American issue. You don't have a right to received Federal Funds if your breaking the law.
Just because a school is private, doesn't give the school the right to break the law. I went to LBSU and plenty of teachers hated my input as I was a Conservative. Don't care, but I had a right to earn my degree to earn a living.
If people peacefully protested and didnt interupt, have classes cancelled due to safety issued or do sit ins so kids couldn't go to class, thats one thing. Its also not ok to want a segment of the country killed for their ethnicity. World gone nuts
So many people hate our country so much, then go find a better one. I served my country and have visited many others. We've had many issues as has every country in the world. Previous Message
For the sake of clarity, as I understand it, schools like Harvard have the ability to issue student visas on their own. This action will eliminate this ability, and it also appears that it will cancel existing visas issued by Harvard. I don't believe it means that international students cannot attend Harvard if they acquire a visa through another channel. FWIW, this understanding comes from reading news reports, and could be in error if they are incorrect. Previous Message
Just heard on the news the Feds are barring Harvard from enrolling foreign students.
If this expands to all colleges and universities it would greatly hurt our chances to recruit the best athletes possible.
We will have to see how this evolves.
