I'm calling you a flat out liar. You don't know a single 18 year old Chinese or Indian kid that isn't coming to Long Beach State because of President Trump's policies and they don't feel safe at LBSU because of it.

I already know many Indian, Chinese, and other international students who were accepted, have declined, and are not coming to our university due to poor policy from the federal level and concerns for their well-being and safety. Hundreds have declined. Previous Message
Unfortunately this will affect all colleges and universities. The recruiting of foreign students had benefited LBSU as they pay higher tuition and fees to get in.
Yesterday Kristi Noem indicated that the restrictions at Harvard could extend nationally to all collegiate institutions. It this happens it would definitely affect our ability to recruit athletes from foreign countries athletes.
