Sat here watching the TV weather forecast, and looking back I wonder how we ever used to survive.

"Aamber" warnings for snow and ice, same for wind and rain, reporters telling people not to drive unless we have to, and on it goes.

FFS have things really got that bad that everything comes with a "warning" along with advice not to do this or that because of the weather?

Nanny state, maybe I had better not go outside today incase I get hit by a falling leaf, or I step in a puddle, or god forbid a flake of snow falls.

Bit windy here this morning, along with a bit of rain, no big deal.
