Yes, this stretch of the shoreline has proved very productive over the summer. My only advice would be don't cast past the fish, the larger of the two kahawhai landed had a whole pilchard in it's stomach. The fish are feeding quite close in, just watch where the small terns are feeding, it's an excellent indicator to where the fish will be feeding also.
