I can understand the need for simple rules for club/fishing casters. Probably 95%of the national entrants are club/fishing casters and don't cast at any other event.
If an arrangement was made at these casting clinics that NZ distance records (UKSF compliant)could be set. Wouldn't this go some way to creating some middle ground? Retaining existing rules/records made set this year.While at the same time trialing a new system.
