East Clive can be a good Kahawai/snapper spot at certain times of the year. It can also be as dead as a dodo and often is unfortunately. Awatoto always seems crowded to me and Ive seldom caught anything other than Kahawai there. Always seems more promise on Napier's Northern beaches. There's been a few hints of the appearance of certain species so its got too worth a try.Let us know how you get on?
