Good to see the beginnings of a political move to stop the environmental damage being done to the Hawke's Bay fishery, with the proposal to a have an inside 50m line depth ban on trawlers in the area.
Its a start but the pollution issues need to be addressed as well especially if the dam goes on the Tuki.
HB anglers need to get behind this move and save what's left and hopefully add to it.
