Ive fished in crab infested waters a lot. When they are really active there doesnt seem to be any way of slowing them down, floats or otherwise. Some say you should try moving further down the beach. Others say give up and go home. But crabs seem to attract fish and often Ive caught something despite the crabs. I think the advice recieved in the previous post is quite good really. Youve just gotta persevere and frequently change your bait. Are you using Gary's anti crab trace with one hook or two.? A smaller peice of bait one just one hook might help too? Perhaps some one else has some other suggestions?
