Good Evening all
I have just been out for a fish twilight/after dark in the wellington area (makara) i was getting bait stripped, crabs i assumed. I got alitte frustrated as the baits werent lasting long i was about to pack up and then a got a good hit which kept me interested i fished on perservering and got a nice kaihawai for my efforts I was glad to come home and see this post and all of its info cheers i managed to snag a crab for bait next time.
whats the recomended way to present a good crab bait - hooks etc also do ya quarter the crab - use its body or legs
