Should be good fun. But really, it's just an excuse to go out and drink somewhere that isn't my bedroom.
Like, when I went to see Stewart Lee last year, I had a few too many pints/shots before hand and during the interval, and so can't really remember most of the show. But I do remember meeting Stewart Lee, and getting his autograph (he signed my ticket, after I apologetticaly told him I wasn't going to buy a DVD from his stand because I already own them all - which was true).
I also remember absolutely bursting for a piss, but not wanting to go for one incase Stewart Lee spotted me and made a cutting remark about it. Which wasn't ideal. That's going to be even worse at a Frankie Boyle show, given his habit of brutally ridiculing audience members.
But yeah . . . perhaps i'll drink a bit less this time around. Just enough so I can relax and enjoy it, but not so much that I start to lose any sense of what's going on.
(Lol . . . as soon as I get there, i'll be downing drinks like they're going out of fashion)
