Looked at the create a wrestler again. There are slots for 25 wrestlers.
You know how many slots there were for extra wrestlers in Fire Pro Wrestling Returns? Five hundred.
Then I looked at the tournaments. You could run a King of the Ring tournament or some kind of Goldust tournament. They were both the same thing from what I saw, just different graphics. But anyway, no more than eight characters.
THE REAL KING OF THE RING HAD 16 WRESTLERS. But in 2015, there were only eight. So...I guess that's what they're basing it on. And if you want to run a King of the Ring tournament the way it was done from 1985-2010, that's just too bad.
Fire Pro Wrestling Returns also had a tournament mode. You could have up to 32 characters.
Who are these people buying these WWE games? I've never had less fun with a wrestling game.
I did a cage match. Pretty lame. The same sort of thing that I saw in No Mercy from 1999. The guy will slowly climb the cage, stutter when he gets near the top, and then the other guy will climb up and knock him down. Repeat a few times until somebody finally gets out.
I guess that's how real cage matches are. I don't remember. But still lame.
Then I tried a tables, ladders, and chairs match. This is a match involving those objects and you have to climb a ladder to reach a briefcase. This operates the same as a cage match. The guy will stutter when he gets near the top allowing the other guy to pull him off the ladder. Repeat a few times until somebody actually manages it.
Again, it's how the matches actually are but it's still stupid.
And the AI isn't good. It will often get stuck in a loop and the character will just zip back and forth. And if the opponent is in front of the ladder's first step (as often happens) you apparently can't jump over them to get on to the ladder. So the AI will disassemble the ladder and then reassemble it in a different position allowing them the freedom to climb the ladder.
Costumes. Some characters have a few, some have loads, some have none.
In Fire Pro, every character had four. I mean...costumes aren't hard to do. Couldn't somebody working on 2k15 just whip up four costumes for everyone?
And the duplicate characters...there's NINE of them in 2k15. Nine out of 60. It will be an older version and the "current" (2015) version. But when I say "older", in many cases it's not that much older. It might only be 2011. It's ridiculous. Are there people out there who want to play Daniel Bryan 2011 as opposed to Daniel Bryan 2015? He has shorter hair in 2011. Maybe some stats are changed but, once again, I don't think that the stats matter and everyone basically has the same stats anyway.
This final point may seem petty but it's actually a big problem. When you start the game, it takes quite a while to load up. I don't think it's actually even loading anything, it's just an intentional slow down so that they can show you who made the game and give you the "don't try this at home" message.
But worst of all, is that there's a huge picture of a shirtless John Cena on one of these load screens and in the main menu. I don't want to see John Cena's oiled up hard nipples in high definition. It's extremely off-putting.
In other news, I've decided for sure that this job isn't worth doing. Trying to work five days this week but again it's going to be two. Maybe one.
And I told this woman from this other company that I can go anywhere if she pays for travel time. She suggested £10 for every hour over the first hour.
The place that I theoretically do most of the work from pays from the moment you leave your home. There's a spreadsheet but it's accurate. So a job that takes 30 minutes each way, he pays you an extra hour. A job that takes an hour each way, he pays an extra two hours. And so forth. And I'm getting £18/hour with him.
So £10 for every hour over one hour? It's just not worth it. That doesn't motivate me.
What did I make last month? £1000. Can you belivee that? And that was the month I was trying to work as much as possible. I worked two days a week.
I quit my last job when I made £1000. I realised that it was a waste of time and there wasn't any work there any more.
Made £1000 in December too.
Made £1300 in November.
That's really shocking when you look at it. November is when I started.
I should be leaving today. I mean...I made £1500/month at the Old Bailey and that was barely enough to live on. I made £2500/month on average at my next job and things were a lot easier.
£1000/month? I'm probably entitled to benefits at this point.
So yeah, I just need to contact some companies in the US and see what work is available. Doesn't matter about having a lease or anything because I can just leave. And if I tell them that I'm making £1000/month I'm sure they'll understand.
