So here it is at 84.3% complete. It's been downloading since this morning. This is ridiculous. The more I've investigated this game, the crappier it looks. So I've spent a good 24+ hours downloading a game that I don't even want.
Hopefully, this is the PC version. It was in the PC section of Skidrow's website but you never know, I guess.
Skidrow has been surprisingly good for downloading stuff. I mean, they've always been good in terms of cracking software. I remember seeing Skidrow cracks from the early days of my interneting. But their website is quite good for downloading stuff too. And since Pirate Bay and all that shit got blocked in the UK, very handy. Skidrow isn't blocked for some reason.
Of course, you can get around the blocks by using Google's cache of a website or using a proxy if you're really determined. But it's all kind of a hassle.
But yeah, Skidrow will have direct links to download games as well as torrent links. There's also a comments section which often had helpful stuff. Not in WWE 2k15's case, though. There are just two comments in Spanish.
Let's browse their games. Wow. There's a new expansion for Crusader Kings II, apparently. Introduces councils...mmm...that seems to be the main thing. But still cool. Would I pay £11 for this? No way. But that's where torrents come in.
DLC is really the worst thing to happen to video games ever. Crusader Kings II revels in this. The full game, with all expansions, would probably run you about £250. It's absurd. And this DLC has pretty poor reviews on Steam.
It's mostly games I've never heard of. Not that I'm hip to the gaming community. Ooh, American Truck Simulator. I've been tempted to download European Truck Simulator but never bothered. Not that tempted, I guess. But it gets great reviews and seems like a relaxing game.
Ooh...Pro Basketball Manager. Looks interesting. I enjoyed Championship Manager and I hate "football". I got off the series after...2002 or so when there was that confusing split and a different company started making Championship Manager and the creative team from the original Championship Manager started a new series called...Soccer Owner or something. And the Championship Manager by the new company was AWFUL. Don't think I tried the other game.
Mount and Blade: Warband looks kind of cool. One guy on Youtube raves about it being the best game ever. Looks like Sid Meier's Pirates and that game was awesome. Maybe check it out. Still downloading WWE 2k15, though...90.1% done and it's been over an hour since I started this message.
