So I set my location for Tinder to Manilla. Matched with two prostitutes, a fat chick, and an okay-looking 29 year old.
That gives me confirmation that I'm doing the right thing by asking my lady friend to move in with me. I mean, my profile suggests that I'm somewhat wealthy (at least by Philippines standards) but still, I'm not matching with any higher calibre or number of women than I do here in Scotland. Not that I'm getting four matches a day in Scotland but whenever you change your location you always get an influx of matches. I think the program puts you high on people's list when you're in a new location.
And yeah, obviously the Philippines is a poor country. And Asian women have a strong preference for white men. So even with all of this, no great results.
Hopefully, I get some of this Middle East work going. I'd like to try it out, you know? And what with these Mohammadans becoming increasingly violent, how much more time will this be a viable career option? But I was told there's no work during Ramadan and it's slow in the summer generally.
Speaking of summer, it was only warm for two days in Glasgow and it's already 15 July (an important day). It's surprising. It was mild year-round in London but it got noticeably warmer in the summer. In Scotland...people are still wearing jackets. Summer is nearly over.
I don't mind it, though. Warm weather is unpleasant. Sun burns, sweating, there's that whole bug thing. Who wants this?
It was awful in Chicago. Rhode Island too. The humidity. You can't breathe in that shit. There was one summer where like 700 people died in Chicago because of the humidity. And I'm not talking ages ago, this was 1995.
I can't wait to quit this job. Can go anywhere. Man, if I get certified for this job, it would make things so much easier. Have to pass that test, though. Not sure I can do it.
But yeah, I'd be able to do depositions all throughout Europe. Could probably find a full-time job in Asia. Could work anywhere in the US.
And even if my friend agrees to move in, I could still do these things. She's like 32 and still doesn't have a permanent job. I don't know what her problem is. She'll work in a place for five years but always as a "temp". They offer her permanent roles but she never takes them. "It's not something I want to do forever."
Of course not, you fool. Don't you get it? "Permanent" doesn't mean you're obligated to do the job for the rest of your life. It just means that you have greater employment rights, more holiday time, maybe some benefits, they pay you more, and you get treated better. Why is this so objectionable to you?
So she has nothing going on career-wise. She can move. And she has family in the US anyway. Her sister lives in New York. And her brother lives in Canada. She's hinted several times that she'd like to live in the US.
Just looking on Youtube, this random guy has like 150 channels that he's subscribed to. That seems like a lot. I'm always pruning my channel list. Getting rid of the assholes. How many channels do I subscribe to? 35. Of course, many of these rarely update or never update but it's probably the same for this guy's 150.
