Man, crazy amount of matches in Manilla now that I've had 24 hours to build things up. Fifteen new matches. Now I know how women feel when using the app.

Actually, looking at it...these aren't good results. The Chinese woman who went to university in Warwick is the only one who does anything for me. And she's not particularly attractive either.

A lot of mentally ill men too.

And prostitutes. I had one say, "It's a match! How are you?" with a few emoticons in there. I said, "This is an insult to my intelligence." She said, "You look good, by the way."

Then I realised that I'm talking to a woman who's trying to make money by having sex with strangers so maybe just give her a break. I mean, yes the compliments are totally disingenuous but here's a woman who if she doesn't die a quick, violent death, it will be a long social disease ridden death. So I just unmatched her.

So quite poor results. Still...better than Glasgow where I get maybe five matches a month. Those are single mothers and/or crazy people or the painfully unattractive. And few of those respond. Virtually none agree to go out.

Next test: Finland. Or maybe Germany. For some reason I want to see how I'd do in Germany.
