It really snowed today. The most I've ever seen in the UK.

In other news, I've been getting a lot of text messages from dentists. They're reminding me that I should make an appointment for a checkup. I was there three months ago.

I think that this is unethical. No reputable dental organisation is suggesting an appointment every three months. This is obviously a cash grab.

And it's not just one place. There are two dental surgeries sending me this crap. I went to one place and they were obviously a scam so I went to another place to get a second opinion and had the work done at this second place. But neither of these places can be that reputable if they're suggesting that you go every three months for a checkup.

So I don't reply to the first message, of course, and they're sending follow up messages. "Hey, you're now overdue for your checkup. Please make an appointment."

Shameful behaviour. You give these people your phone number in the hope that they'll be responsible with it. Don't keep sending me this nonsense.
