I believe that I only downloaded Bumble...yesterday? The day before? And I only swiped a few people. So...that's semi-promising, I guess. Although, not really.
Also about three new Tantan matches today but they're all in fucking China. No, that's not true. I think one is in Africa. She sent a message saying, "How are you?". That's how you know it's a scam.
Well...I was going to say that you know it's a scam because women never message first. But I've had it happen very rarely by very desperate and very unattractive and/or very much older women.
But yeah, somebody 5000 kilometers away sending you a message first? There's a scam afoot.
Oh, and now that I look, one of my matches today wasn't from Red China but rather Wolverhampton. And she's not even Chinese. She looks...maybe white? I don't know. Middle Eastern perhaps. Fairly attractive. 32 years old. Probably a hooker, I'd have to imagine, although nothing in the profile or the pictures suggests this.
Where's Wolverhampton? Manchester? No. It's its own city between London and Manchester.
Got another unsolicited "hello" from somebody in China. I didn't reply. Why would I? These people are in China.
Nothing against China. We should be civil to them, even though Chinese people are among the least civil in the world. Defecating in the street and whatnot. But they're also among the least honest. So when somebody in China is sending you an unsolicited message, you know that it's a scam.
Indeed, I got a message from yet another woman in China who said, "I don't use this probe very often. Add me on WeChat." This was days after I matched her. It was a remarkably attractive 35 year old.
Her message came with an automated message from Tantan saying something like, "Deceitful links are often troublesome. Don't trust this person!" I don't remember the first sentence, it was some kind of warning that what she was sending was a known scam, but the second sentence was definitely, "Don't trust this person!" I found it amusing.
Indeed, people who want to immediately add you on WeChat are scammers. I don't know what the scams are but it's definitely something that I've read.
Then there's Happn. It's awaful. Zero likes. But more than that, I spend most of my time DISLIKING people.
Oh, that Chinese woman who said "hi" actually probably is genuine. She's a chubby 38 year old. I say she's probably genuine because she has a VIP account. I don't think that scammers are using paid accounts. But yeah, I'm not interested in 38 year old chubby Chinese women. If she was neearby, maybe, but I'm not going to China for this.
