Customer asked for a main service a 6yr old 62000 mile megane,this was a first time customer so i looked at service book and car was serviced at 5yrs and 3 days old at 50000miles(timing belt due at 72000 or 5 years so should have been done at last service)3 months after my service the timing belt snapped and cost him £600 at another garage,He is now taking me to court to claim for this repair.Has anyone been in this position and had to go to court for same thing?
