Another good friend of mine does it in exactly the same way as you! But I approached our two stations and neither wanted the extra paperwork or 'hassle' as they put it! Not bad really seeing as we only spend £15000 a year with them on mots! Andy has the best suggestion really, If they put vat on mot's in the first place, then all this extra work would not be needed! Does anyone know why the Mot test is exempt from vat anyway?? I don't really know myself
