I regularly talk to a dealer helpline run by the manufacturer & find them lacking in knowledge in quite a few areas, they are clued up on the latest software fix etc on the newest vehicles, but all the difficult jobs on more than 2 year old cars they don't have too much knowledge of. Regards

I am sure there will be an attempt made to make the system only accessable online as you say. What I meant is the actual job of diagnosing the car will not work out online.
