Thats Funny, I did exactly that, I tried Training an Ex Mechanic into becoming an Electrician / Diagnostic guy.

He wanted to go on Every training course going, ( Really he wanted to do anything that did not involve work ) He also used to come and go as he felt like it and thought he was indespensible.

so "WE" went on several courses, The courses were Brilliant and always learnt Me / Us something But when I gave him a Complicated job his reply was what do you think I am, a Fxxxing Specialist just because i have been on a 2 day course. ????. ( several guys on here will remember him )

Luckily he handed his notice in and it was the biggest relief that i have ever had. but i spent plenty on training courses and lost time, but i am glad that i did it for myself.

on the other hand i have 3 other employees that don't want to go on courses as they know everything already. Well that is untill they waste hours on a simple job that they should have fixed in half an hour.
