This one has come back to bite my bum. New Bosch MAF fitted on 8 Dec and you guessed it, EML is back on. Made arrangements to revisit tomorrow about mid-day. Mark mentioned about re-setting the adaptations if I could. Well ACR G2 does not have that function so I didn't so I guess that could be the problem. If that is the case is it a main dealer job or can I disconnect the battery to do it assuming no radio code and immobiliser issues? If there is an ECU fuse then that could do the job. Will look on AD later. I know some adaptations can be undertaken by driving the car for about 20 mins and let ECU re-learn but may not be applicable on this car. Also when I fitted MAF another 2 fault codes popped up after re-starting car. They were PO300 and PO303 refering to a misfire. These have never appeared before and cleared down immediately. Customer has never had running problems so I assumed they were spurious codes - could be wrong. Grateful for early advice/comments. Will post findings tomorrow.
