Dave. Thanks for your kind offer. Will have a think about it and will get back to you if necessary. However I must confess that I am beginning to tire of this vehicle after going back and forth for a year. I have made arrangements to have it smoke tested, tech 2'd and put numerous parts on it. Customer has decided to live with it and is happy at that. However, I am not. Don't like being beaten and will leave it for a while before going back to it.

Lee. Thanks for the info. Looks like that avenue is blocked but will have a look anyway.

Maybe the dealer is right - wants a new ECU in their opinion after discussing it with them.

NB. Sure I have tested emissions at fast idle when running lean but cannot remember the results. Will check - next time
