Hi Eddie, I appreciate you have a lot of experience on this subject and know it better than me and we could write pages and pages on the actual theory of catalysts, lambda control etc but when you measure the lambda as a gas reading on a workshop/MOT gas analyser the lambda reading is constant and stable usually around lambda 1.000 That is what I was referring to with a correct lambda reading. If you probe the lambda sensor with a scope, agreed the actual emissions are going rich, lean, rich, lean etc constantly. Thanks for the correction & appologies if this caused any confusion but I meant to do the opposite Paul
