Peter, i have been reliably informed of the following procedure to try; 1)remove throttle body. 2)examine actuator arm attached to throttle plate spindle 3)2 small magnetic pads should seen bonded to the arm as part of the throttle control mechanism. 4)these two small magnetic pads are known to detach themselves 5)rebond magnetic plates with superglue/araldite etc in exactly same position hth regards john sartain
