I had a similar fault a while ago with a Volvo with this engine which had put a code up for the fuel pressure sensor, garage fitted a new one with no improvement and the eventual cure was a new high pressure pump,located on the engine, total cost I think was about £750. No surprise Volvo stopped using this unit.
