    Thats the bit I had already figured

    IE The idea is either

    a) Build large numbers of componants to an incredably small tolerance (HUGELY expensive)

    b) Churn them out with far wider tolerances but measure each componant to find out exactly how it performs and tell the ECM what to expect in order to get the best out of it.

    Very sensible actually.

    BUT

    I would like to know what the numbers actually represent.

    (I'm wierd that way! )
