Funny you should say that. I am currently "swept off my feet" with head gasket ETC type jobs at the moment. So are my local engineering companies (I always skim and crack test (My machining requirements for diesel heads go somewhat beyond this))! All of a sudden people seem to be wanting to fix cars they would have thrown away 6 months ago. Personaly I think this is great, not just from the work POV but because I have always felt that the "fuse is blown, scrap it" mentallity represents an APPALING waste of resources! (and funnily enough, Ive just purchased a new MIG welder, and jolly nice it looks too! Only one on the market that can weld down to 20Amps, I wil report back after I have played with it for a bit )
