It's interesting that the most vociferous anti-EU voices here are also the most anti-Corbyn. I can't see the point of voting Brexit and then refusing to support a possible Lexit in the form of the only possibly viable alternative to uber-neoliberal Brexit, a Corbyn-led Labour government. The Lexit-2 are right in one sense, though. I very much doubt that a Corbyn-led government outside the EU, even if willing, would be able to deliver on a left-wing agenda, given what it would be up against. Which is another reason for staying inside the EU and for Corbyn and his left supporters to try to link up with other progressive forces in Europe and to try to turn the EU boat around and create a Europe independent of the US and against the neoliberal agenda. A difficult if not impossible task obviously. But what's the alternative? Narrow nationalism and fantasies of empire, even as we sell off what's left of our public sector.
