Comments like this make me realise for certain that no matter which side of the fence you sit, leave or remain, the opposite represents everything that is wrong leaving our personal favourite as the result. Can we admit that in the main it's a decision between damned if you do, damned if you don't? That's the view I hVe anyway, but I'm sure someone will shoot that down too! It's why I've suggested the leave vote really won; most of the poorest know absolutely nothing will change when there is zero challenge or inconvenience to status quo, but they're also smart enough to know that change won't necessarily be positive. Doing nothing means keeping things as they are- it can't logically be on both sides of the debate! Again, it's as far as any sane argument can go; doing nothing means we want things to remain the same. Doing something means we don't. Not more or less than that, with the poorest expectations are lower than anyone not in that bracket can imagine. Yes, there's a racist element, but there's a decidedly colonialist element i the remain crowd too, colonialism means the same to the forgotten not us poor, but it's a prettier version of racism to us. Cheers, Derek
