"Don't understand how a vote with no boundaries could be gerrymandered. Can you explain that?.." -Because it deliberately excluded the several million EU citizens who live here... "How different was it to the Scottish referendum which yielded a result that suited central govt and therefore had no long drawn out discussions post vote. " ...by contrast The Scottish referendum was based on residence: both EU and English born people got to vote. If non Scottish born people had been excluded in the same way as with Brexit the result would have actually been the reverse. The propaganda from the elite was even more intense: nearly every Corporate media publication and TV broadcaster was geared against it. BBC propaganda was on what one ex senior staff member called "...a war footing". As to "no long drawn out discussions post vote... " The Scottish government produced a six hundred page document detailing its proposal for Independence beforehand. You Brexit proposers by contrast produced a slogan on a bus and some shouty stuff about how Turkey was soon going to be a member and swamp us with dark skinned foreigners: both which incidentally turned out to be dishonest untruths, so in fact there was no Brexit consensus on what people were voting for: the Brexit principle could of course be fulfilled by an EFTA arrangement... but since then Brexit has been reinvented to disallow that. In Scotland the discussions still go on: in fact the Brexit fraud has intensified them. The elite propagandists at the time had after all told us we would be thrown out the EU if we voted to become Independent and thus turn Scotland into a economic basketcase... and that staying in the union with England was the only safe way to secure our EU membership...
