No argument there. I think that's what ML did, and I can sympathize with their critique though maybe it could have been expressed in more moderate terms, given the great work OffG has done on so many issues. Twitter really is a terrible medium for sane discussion. My view is that it's a bad idea to carry such articles in part because of the massive campaign the fossil fuel lobby has waged for decades to muddy the waters on the science behind AGW, a campaign that, together with media distortions, has confused people about the seriousness of the problem. I think the editors should realize how such articles can potentially contribute to that. But in the long run, it's going to take not just awareness but massive social movements rooted in radical politics of the kind reflected in OffG's analysis and in the long run that's probably more important anyway.
