It's a bit ranty, I agree. Look, I've no time for male misbehaviour like this. but surely some context is needed. Twenty years ago, this creep graped a woman. Some men do this sort of thing, and most adult women know this. IF it wasn't dealt with at the time, then to bring it out twenty years down the track is not reasonable. Maybe I'll rephrase this, to make a major hue and cry about it isn't reasonable. That's maybe not the women's fault, but the media's?
As for women getting balls or a thicker skin, yes, I was being provocative. I'm actually a sensitive type of chap, I have four daughters so I am acutely aware of what power differentials there are. So is anyone's offended, I apologise.
But in the general run of things, without making excuses for this behaviour, it is at a very low level compared with the serious assaults and misdeeds and threats made to women all the time. This starts becoming a witch hunt rather than a useful exercise in helping male / female relationships.
We're talking about adults here. Women and men should mostly be able to sort this sort of thing out as the need arises. A slap on Boris's face at the time or something verbal directed at the man would have been more appropriate, I think.
As for my last remark, I think that's pretty fair.
