" Em...I can't actually see anyone tying themselves in knots above: eye of the beholder I suspect. As to being a "secular humanist", if it means "...generally preferring critical thinking and evidence over acceptance of dogma or superstition." I would take that as a compliment, even though I have spent a large part of my life on studying the aforesaid sacred religion & myth, and on the critical part of thinking btw, have you ever had the suspicion that the world and the other people in it might be somewhat more complex than your own ability to categorise? "Consider the position of those, many here, who laugh at the desecration of churches..." -Quite a claim. Any evidence? Just one tiny example would do or I'll have to conclude you're making it up from whole cloth as you go along with a bit of malice aforethought chucked in: as regular trolls tend to do.
