Considered article in The Land mag looking at how the issue is further dividing the left in the UK: http://www.thelandmagazine.org.uk/articles/radical-intransigence-0 Apparently Helen Steel (of McLibel fame) is the latest veteran activist to be de-platformed, attacked and hounded for her 'gender critical' views, basically emphasising the biological reality of sex differences over the feelings which lead people to 'self-identify' as a different gender to that of their birth. Expect to see more 'controversy' over this, hyped in the press in a similar way to the a/s witch-hunt as a wedge issue to divide and neutralise opposition. Also, expect leftists to fall over themselves to legitimise and add fuel to the shitstorm, just so they can purge themselves (and everybody else) of All Evil Thoughts. Meanwhile the living world will continue to be torn to shreds with nobody standing up in its defense because we were all too busy arguing about the Supreme Importance of Using the Correct Words. jeers, I |
