If TBT has any basis in reality, the evidence will stack up and eventually have to be recognised by the rest of the scientific community. If and when that time comes we will all have to take it seriously. Just because something is logical and internally consistent does not make it true. There has to be evidence. It may be true as far as it goes, but inadequate, that is, it is not the whole picture. How would we ever know whether we have come up with whole picture, anyway? We can't know because we can't compare what we know against the whole picture, obviously, since we don't know if we know it or not. In any case, we, as humans, may be incapable of knowing - or understanding - the whole picture. It quite likely is beyond our capacities. TBT may be psychologically comforting. We all like stories that we find deeply satisfying. We invest them with truth because we need that to be so. But that does not mean that they are true. I like haiku. that's because they bring us back to the reality of the moment, to direct experience. Experience as experience without any need to have any particular beliefs or interpretations about what that experience means outside of itself.
