I heard an interview with a doctor today about how the virus is affecting a large long term care home here. Over 20 residents have died but remarkably, large numbers of the old people are recovering from it. He emphasized that this is a home where people are properly cared for, not allowed to become dehydrated, etc. He also said that some young healthy people are dying from it and that it may be because their immune systems are so strong that it is their own body’s response that is causing their organs to shut down. Very good news that you are feeling better Dan. Very good news indeed! |
