You've previoulsy posted at me the rubric from the top of the board. What you are objecting to is an informed refutation of your point of view. Given that you have a completely free opportunity to post on this site I suggest you think again before accusing me of closing down debate. The disease is only not dangerous to the general population if you exclude people over 70. The excess mortality is tending to zero during lockdown which suggests that it's not lockdown that's killing people. I acknowldege that there will be long term effects for cancer patients. It's pretty hard to give chemo to patients in hospitals which also have covid in staff and patients. Are you for real? - You are demanding that I list the ways I am trying to help prevent and treat patients with covid? Rest assured I'm doing my best. Cancer screening needs to be reorganised - I am part of that work. That organisation is independent of the need for screening and isolation. Shanghai was in lockdown for a month and now is not - 7 deaths in a population of 25 million. I'm not trying to change your mind I'm providing people here with an alternative viewpoint from someone caring for patients. Take it or leave it. |
